We recruit for our customer, a leading company specialized in environmental sector, a general manager for a chemical plant (the plant is currently under construction).
The plant will treat hazardous waste by incineration (30,000 tons per annum) and medical waste (2000 tons per year). The plant is located in the South of Jiangsu Province (2 hours drive from Shanghai)

The General Manager will be P&L responsible of a Joint Venture (60% French group - 40% Local Partner) and will be responsible for the financial, and operational performance of the Company. The General Manager will have to set objectives and to develop and implement an adequate strategy (approved by Board directors). The General Manager will lead a team of 80 employees.

- Manage the employees of the Joint Venture
- Report financial performance of the Company
- Manage a team in charge of procurement
- Manage a commercial team in charge of customers’ relationship and commercial contracts.
- Manage the operation and maintenance of the plant
- Ensure compliancy with all environmental standard
- Ensure solid safety performance of the site.
