Suez is present in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe & CIS countries since the 70’s. The company is strongly willing to strengthen its commercial team in the waste business.
To manage long term business relationships with clients at national/regional level in order to generate, prepare, track and follow new affairs / bids, allowing the growth of SUEZ business in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe and CIS countries, SUEZ offers a position of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER IN WASTE.
The main responsibilities are to:
Establish SUEZ as a main Central, Eastern and Southern Europe and CIS countries player in the waste for mainly municipal customers but also industrial clientsNegotiate, sign and put into force contractsFollow long term relationship with existing clients, and identify new projectsPropose and implement, in accordance with the Group strategy and resources, a specific commercial action plan for Central, Eastern and Southern Europe and CIS countries in order to secure the projectsAnalyze business, partners, clients, and any contributors to our markets in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe and CIS countriesPromote all SUEZ solutions to clients/partners and participate in marketing communication in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe and CIS countriesBuild, with the support of the proposal manager, a winning proposal strategy and the action plan of the tender according to the client’s needs.Identify the appropriate partners.Deploy the bid action plan by following the client and guiding the project engineer on the technical, financial, fiscal and contractual aspects of the project.Support commercially the execution team during constructionSign the partnership agreement and maintains relationships with clients along with the project manager in order to help the turnover growth.
The position is based in Paris, with frequent business trips within Central, Eastern and Southern Europe and CIS countries and SUEZ facilities in France and Europe.
The business development area manager will work under the supervision of the Business Development Director of the BU ICEE, based in Paris. He will have close relation with the proposal team in Paris, marketing, legal, and design departments of the company. He will also work with the local representative of Suez in the area.
Profil recherché
- Male or female
- University degree in engineering, business or MBA equivalent
- 10 years of experience in Business Development minimum
- Specialist of the waste industry
- Strong relationship skills
- Results-oriented, pragmatic, dynamic
- Team player
Other requirements
- Willingness to travel / approximately 70% travelling in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe and CIS countries and to the SUEZ facilities in France and Europe
- Languages: fluent in English and other Eastern European or CIS languages. French language welcome.
