As part of your mission, you may be responsible for:
.Improving, testing and applying signal processing, 3D modeling and 3D inversion tools dedicated to active and passive electromagnetic imaging (MT, CSEM)
.Organizing and contributing to electrical and EM field surveys but also process, inverse and interpret field measurements
.Develop new inversion techniques to include constrains and prior information
.Develop new approaches to jointly invert geophysical data (gravimetric/EM, seismic/EM)
.Communication and publication on the results (publications, international conferences).
Profil recherché
You hold a PhD in Geophysics, preferentially focused on electromagnetism, numerical modelling and inversion or signal processing.
You will mobilize several of the following skills and qualities:
.Knowledge of electromagnetic and electrical methods (modelling, inversion),
.Skills in inverse methods, signal processing, linear algebra, data mining
.Knowledge of other geophysical methods with field practice, processing, interpretation;
.Analysis and numerical programming (C, C ++, Fortran, Matlab, COMSOL) and parallel computation,
.Taste for research and innovation,
.Human ability to work in a team,
.Good synthesis and writing skills,
.Autonomy, rigor, excellent sense of organization,
