Sita UK, Suez Environnement's subsidiary in United Kingdom is looking for a Technical Training Manager M/F

Key responsibilities are :

· Develops the Technical training plan across the Company.
Develops appropriate communication of Technical training to the business
Identify and deliver other opportunities for external accreditation of SITA UK Technical training.
Manages the Engineering Graduate Programme.
Oversees the training of internal apprentices, ensuring links to colleges.
Supports the recruitment, placement and career path of Graduates, apprentices and interns.
Acts as internal consultant to line managers on Technical training interventions
Identifies Technical training needs through various sources.
In consultation with the L&D Manager, Technical Team and Technology experts, designs and develops learning material to meet priority needs.
Delivers technical and behavioural skills training and development interventions where appropriate.
Devises appropriate processes to continually review and evaluate the effectiveness of Technical training and update where necessary.
Ensures the Technical training is in line with SITA UK H&S Policy & Procedures
Builds open and effective relationships with all Departments within SITA UK, to enable the Technical training and development needs of the business to be accurately met.
Builds links and effective relationships with Suez Environnement and Novergie (France).
Liaises with and represents SITA UK with EITB and other appropriate bodies.
Prepares a monthly training report for the L&D Manager.
Maintains appropriate data to report activity within the monthly training report.
Use workforce to record Technical training produce suitable reports.
Sources external training provision where there is no in-house capability.
Ensures Technical training meets legislative requirements, business needs and is cost effective.
Ensure any external trainers used, deliver the appropriate training, to the required standard, at an agreed cost.
Supports the L&D Manager.
Ensure appropriate Technical training costs are recouped from Operations.
Support the Technical Teams in the development of competencies and standard operating procedures.
Maintains strong links to Suez Environment for best practice in Technologies training.
Produce and communicate Technical Bulletins/Initiatives throughout the Company on a regular basis.
Undertakes projects in role of project manager or project team member according to business need
To participate in procedural reviews and make recommendations.
To carry out such other duties as may be required by the L&D Manager, commensurate with the knowledge and skills of the post holder and being within the scope of the job-role
Represents SITA UK in Technical forums and various bodies e.g. EU Skills.
