Vestas Mediterranean People & Culture department delivers HR services such as data management, HRIS, payroll and other typical HR issues.

Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for accurately preparing and processing regional company payroll. Serve as the primary resource for employee inquiries regarding payroll and time reporting; maintenance of employee files. Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external business colleagues

Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities and tasks are:
* Function as a Payroll Tier 2 Specialist in Regional HR Services.
* Collect, review, enter and/or import data for payroll processing utilizing SAP, MS Office Suite and payroll applications
* Accurately process regional payroll on a bi-weekly basis while maintaining regulatory compliance and processing within Vestas policies; generate manual checks as required
* Process involuntary deductions, including but not limited to, garnishments, tax levies, child support orders, etc.
* Review payroll data for reasonableness, accuracy and completeness prior to processing payroll, utilizing SAP and custom audit tools; resolve any invalid data
* Serve as the primary resource responding to employee inquiries related to regional payroll or time reporting within the payroll department’s defined service level standards; only escalate inquires outside of the position responsibilities
* Maintenance of payroll, tax and time reporting information on company intranet
* Accountable for maintaining the integrity of employee data in the SAP time reporting and payroll databases; partnering with Payroll colleagues, HRIS analyst, HRIS coordinator and other HR staff
* Assist in identifying changes within SAP and payroll applications to improve payroll and time reporting operations
* Assist in the development and documentation of Payroll Standard Operating Procedures
* Identify and champion technology based solutions to improve manual or inefficient processes
* Generate and distribute periodic payroll and tax reports as defined and expected
* Other duties and special projects as assigned to support department and corporate objective
* Administer benefits and ensure adhere to local tax requirements
* Track participates within system
* Provide periodic reports on participants, payments, etc.
