Our client is looking for a Chief Technical and Asset Management Officer for all the platforms that it’s is managing, addressing both zero emission mobility and distributed off grid fields. The CT&AMO will be in charge of:
Asset Management area
Management of the operational and technical aspects of the asset management of the platforms:
• Asset monitoring & reporting
• Management of contracts with partners
• Maintenance follow up
• Health & Safety follow up
• Optimization and maintenance of asset values
• EPC monitoring
• Technical claim management (incl. insurance and warranty claims)
• Asset repossessing and end of life management
Investment area
Management of the technical and operational evaluations required for investment projects:
• Management of technical due diligence on equipment (in particular on battery matters), in conjunction with external consultants and experts.
• Management of equipment value evolution estimates for the elaboration of business plans in view of investment.
Support in the development and negotiation of technical and operational elements of the contractual documentation (guarantees, operating conditions, etc.) with clients/partners.
Expertise area
• Building internal technological expertise on equipment performance and life cycle, in particular batteries, to support investment decisions and optimized asset management.
• Development and management of relations with external technical partners, in particular experts and R&D teams of shareholders.
• Technology / innovation watch and identification of value creation opportunities for integration in company Capital's offers (existing or future platforms)
• The CT&AMO will manage a team of 2 engineers and 1 alternate/trainee and will have ongoing relationships with the business and financial teams.
The CT&AMO will be part of the management team of the firm, directly reporting to the CEO.
• 5 years of higher education in engineering.
• 15 years of professional experience in operational asset management and management of contracts, ideally including battery issues.
• International experience will be a plus.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and autonomy Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients and partners.
• Very good structuring and development skills in an environment to be built.
• Very good command of English and French (spoken, and contractual writings)
• Based in Paris, with several business trips in Europe and Africa
