TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR STRENGTHENING THE CAPACITY OF THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT. FORESTS AND WATER ADMINISTRATION IN ALBANIA FOR LAW DRAFTING AND ENFORCEMENT OF NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL LEGISLATION
Team Leader - Environmental Policy and Legislation Expert
Duration: 550 days spread over project implementation of 30 months
Qualifications and skills
• Relevant university degree, preferably with a MSc, or equivalent, in environmental law, environmental sciences or other related field
• Fluent in English
General professional experience
• Preferably fifteen (15) years, but not less than ten (10) years, of relevant professional experience in the field of environment
• General experience on environmental issues in EU Members States and EU environment acquis
• Demonstrated experience in internationally funded projects in the environment field during
the previous five (5) years
• General experience demonstrating a deep knowledge and very good understanding of the EU enlargement process would be an asset
• At least five (5) years of experience in environmental policy, legal approximation and preparation of the implementation procedures for the enforcement of the EU environmental legislation
• Experience as Team leader, during the last five (5) years, of at least two (2) technical assistance projects in the field of environmental policies and capacity building in EU
Member States and/or candidate countries to accede to the EU and/or potential candidate countries to accede the EU
