Position: CEO of Egis Infra Management India
Position and Responsibilities:
• He/She manages the Company Egis Infra Management India Pvt Ltd ('EIMI'), a JV between Egis Road Operation S.A. of France (44%) and DSC Limited of India (56%), as CEO,
• He/She represents EIMI towards authorities, clients and third parties, pursuant to the power given by its board of directors,
• He/She ensures the development and growth of EIMI in a competitive and low cost environment;
• He/She reports to the shareholders and in particular Egis Road Operation S.A. (the CEO is a nominee of Egis Road Operation S.A.)
Education:
• Experience in management of projects by a fast growing organization
• College / University degree, preferably engineering / construction background
Experience:
• Experience in management of projects by a fast growing organization
• Experience of working abroad (foreign environment), preferably in developing countries (BRIC)
• 10 years of professional experience (Highway O&M, production, military), including 5 years in the O&M industry on toll projects
Languages:
• The candidate shall be fluent in English
• Hindi in addition would be ideal
Qualifications and Skills related to the position:
• Building of mid and long term strategies and business plans
• Manage an organization to the standards of performance-based contracts (key performance indicators)
• Knowledge of O&M-related activities: toll collection, traffic management, maintenance (to a lower extent: asset management & planning of heavy repairs)
• Management of a large organization through technical indicators
• Corporate planning (cash, HR resources)
Qualifications and Skills related to the client:
• Negotiate contracts (preferably service contracts) and partnerships aimed at win-win situations
• Appetite for commercial contacts and for building and making didactic presentations
• Building a network of stakeholders (Clients, authorities, etc.) around a company
• Listen, understand and value the opinion of his/her counterparts
• Resist pressure to impose smoothly his/her arguments
Qualifications and Skills related to cooperation:
• Acknowledge different practices and value them; accept different cultures and work as a foreigner in a company with local staff
• Ensure internal reporting (circulation of information and feed back of partners & clients)
• Relate to partners and ensure that common objectives are agreed
Qualifications and Skills related to management:
• Elaborate the company's vision and strategy and obtain the adherence of the company's managers and teams
• Promote practices oriented to innovation / improvement
• Orient and motivate his/her team around common objectives, with a priority on results (rather than on processes)
• Anticipate the impact of the company's growth on the company's organization
Computer knowledge:
• Fully computer literate
Hiring Conditions:
• Status: Cadre.
• Location: India - Delhi.
• Start date: Mid 2012.(Replacement)
• Total duration of the assignment: minim. 2 years.
