The Team leader will lead an international team of experts to assist Russian Federation government in preparing for the implementation of UNFCCC and Kyoto protocol. The project will develop an action plan to :
- Implement Kyoto protocol requirements and reporting emissions of GHG
- Establish a national registry
- Participate in the realization of project activities under Kyoto protocol
Formation :
- Degree in environment management or relevant discipline
Professional experience :
- Proven capability to conduct high level negociations;
- 10 years of experience of consultancy in the field of environment management
- Experience in development of legal framework and institutional capacity building in Russian Federation and in other countries with economy in transition
- 5 years of experience involving public administration partners in Russian Federation
- One assignment in the last 5 years in a PHARE or TACIS area country
- Experience in climate change policies.
Others : Full time position, the expert needs to be free from any other assignment for 20 months from the starting date.
