Description du poste
The project preparatory technical assistance (PPTA) will conduct technical, economic, financial and social due diligence to provide supplementary funding from the Strategic Program for Climate Resilience (SPCR) for Cambodia under Investment Component I: 'Promoting Climate-Resilient Water Resources and Related Infrastructure' to support the Water Resources Management Sector Development Program (WRMSDP, Loan no. 2672-CAM) under ADB's Additional Financing modality. The PPTA will be administered under TA 4848-CAM (Water Resources Management Sector Project).
Qualifications:
The Agricultural Specialist will have
- an university degree in the relevant subject;
- a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the case of the Program Team Leader, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience for the remainder;
- adequate experience in implementing projects in the Greater Mekong Sub-region, preferably in Cambodia;
- sound and practical knowledge in relevant fields in Southeast Asia and with poverty reduction and sustainable development;
- strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Competencies:
The Agricultural Specialist will assist the climate change specialists to
- assist the climate change specialists in the preparation of the climate change impact, vulnerability and adaptation assessment;
- identify adaptation options and benefits of the adaptation options from an agricultural development perspective;
- develop appropriate cropping patterns under anticipated scenarios of climate change; and (iv) develop training programs to improve capacity of FWUCs and PDWRAMs to support agricultural services and irrigation management to enhance resilience in changing climate conditions.
