Degremont is expanding its activities in Africa and has recently won new projects in Angola to design and build water treatment plants meant to supply the fast expanding Angolan capital, Luanda. We are currently looking for candidates to take part in these new projects under the position of

Project Manager (H/F) – Bita Project
Location: Luanda, Angola
Duration: 30 months, starting June 1st, 2015

Degrémont has won an EPC project as a subcontractor of an association of three civil work construction companies in order to design and build a new drinking water plant for Luanda.

You will represent Degrémont locally within the association of the three construction companies, and manage the project’s execution on all its aspects (contractual, financial, relationships, technical and planning) since its coming into force until the end of the guarantee period, in order to ensure the project objectives achievement.

Your main missions will be as follows:
-     Manage the project’s team: recruitment, and assignments to the different phases of the project.
-     Manage the relationships within Degrémont with all the supporting teams (engineering, procurement and supply chain) so as to respect ensure that the deadlines are met. You will also be the immediate report for external stakeholders (other companies of the association) and will take part in all project routine meetings.
-     Define project objectives, plans works, actions and budgets costs and revenues. Assess and control detailed project’s budget and planning. Issue periodical internal progress reports.
-     Assess risks & opportunities related to the project.
-     Lead the implementation of the Group processes on the project, in particular Health & Safety & Environment.
