Our client is a Leading Biotechnology Business.Our client is a leader within the Biotechnology industry and they are highly regarded as a specialist in the biologics field. They urgently require a senior Interim Process Engineer to provide technical and process engineering expertise to improve existing and new manufacturing processes.

Job Description :
Based from the company's site in the North West, you will be challenged with the responsibility of driving continuous improvement and engineering solutions that support the development of procedures that contribute to the sites manufacturing processes.

Main Duties to be Performed:

- Assess current plant and equipment capability and propose process engineering solutions for the manufacturing processes,

- Propose and implement solutions to continuously improve the manufacturing process from chemical handling, automation and process engineering points of view,

- Provide process engineering support to new capital projects by acting as the end user,

- Lead the resolution of Unplanned Events relating to process equipment to understand root cause for process events and propose effective CAPAs,

- Participate in risk assessments and HAZOPs of manufacturing processes and equipment,
- Perform validation of new equipment by preparing qualification/validation protocols and reports.

Specifics of Position:

- Full working knowledge of automation recipe control and solid understanding of Scada systems,

- Thorough understanding of the theory behind the unit operations,
- Be able to plan effectively and manage multiple projects (capex, GB, process improvements) at the same time in accordance with agreed project timelines and project deliverables,

- Have a strong understanding of the requirements of cGMP and regulatory guidelines, especially as relates to equipment qualification, validation, and change control.
