CDD / Mission - 12-24 months 1 à 3 ans Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh
You will be performing technical, contractual and commercial reviews on wind and solar PV projects for our clients (technical due diligence for lenders, investors, developers, operators…) and may be involved in site inspections. As part of the team responsible for launching operations in Vietnam, you will be working under the guidance of the Country Manager to support business development activities and project execution tasks. These may include using GIS software, conducting energy yield assessment, and gathering technological and market intelligence.
The main tasks will include:
• GIS-based site review;
• Energy yield assessment;
• Support in technical review (project design review);
• Support in contracts review (turbine/module supply, balance of plant, operations and maintenance, asset management, grid connection, power purchase…);
• Assistance to the Project Manager during project execution;
• Participation in client’s meetings and conference calls;
• Coordination with our external partners, and with our colleagues in France.
You will follow a dedicated training program (GIS software and energy yield assessment tools) at your arrival at Syneria during 2 to 3 months in France (CDD contract in Paris, Montpellier or Rennes) from April/May 2023 before joining the Vietnamese office, ideally in July 2023, located in Ho Chi Minh City.
VIE contract duration : 12 months, expected to be renewed for 12 additional months.
French skills are not a requirement for this position. Monthly pay : 2266 € net (compensation set by decree).
• You are between 18 and 28 years old;
• You are French or a citizen from the European Economic Area;
• You are interested in the renewable energy sector, in Sout-East Asia;
• Engineering degree or university master’s degree (M.Sc. or higher) in fields relevant for the job;
• Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in the energy industry, ideally in international projects (internships included);
• Excellent teamwork capabilities but also skills to work independently;
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills;
• Client-oriented;
• Fluency in English is a must. Very good Vietnamese skills would be highly appreciated. French will be a plus but is not a must-have;
• Project management and consulting experience is an advantage ;
• Pro-active, pragmatic, solution-oriented, and self-reliant;
• Willingness to travel as part of project work in the ASEAN region;
• Strong interest for energy market.
