Today, we have projects in all five continents, and we are global benchmark in those countries which are investing in renewable energies, especially on large-scale PV projects, on which we have developed our capabilities and expertise.

From Prodiel, we are looking for a Project Developer that will work on the origination of the PV projects until the hand over to final investor. He will lead the delivery of our solar strategy including site identification, securing land rights, feasibility, design, handling EIA, securing consents, securing grid connections, and developing investment case. The Project Developer will work with Country Manager to develop the business case for solar, processes and strategies to be adopted for the delivery of company targets.

The candidate will join the department that is exclusively dedicated to develop new solar PV projects and will report directly to the Country Manager. Prodiel has developed solar PV projects for more than 15 years and currently has a team of 40 people dedicated to the development of a large pipeline of projects mainly in Spain.

This position will require to:

• Identifying opportunities and finding the right locations and sites for new projects of photovoltaic solar installations. Conduct and supervise feasibility studies, necessary permits and achievement of Ready to Build status for these new identified projects.
• Negotiation, closing and monitoring agreements with local developers, landowners, municipalities and real estate agents, as well as with local DSO and TSO on the conditions of interconnection to the network for the realization of utility scale solar projects.
• Develop all the sequence of permits, licenses and authorizations (PLAs) necessary for the implementation of the new projects, contributing to obtaining zoning plan changes and (building) permits, maintaining relations with all the administrations involved, as well as providing constant follow-up of the PLAs.
• Managing the studies, technical reports and all the necessary documentation for the technical-administrative processing of the Project, as well as preparing reports and analysis of such documentation.
• Stakeholder management: relations with technicians of the central headquarters, autonomous and municipal administration, town councils, technicians of the distribution and / or transport network managers, etc.
• Support during Financing of the projects
• Support during the sale process of the projects.
