KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Being responsible of the Commissioning team, responsible to ensure that the Offshore Wind Farm project is commissioned according normative applied, in a defined time, in accordance with Project specifications.
* Ensure that test values results are in compliance with the normative applied.
* Plan the site commissioning tests of the project, creating a detailed programme of works, communicate and agree with the rest of the Project Team, Contractors and Suppliers.
* Act as the main site point of contact during commissioning phase. Management and coordination of contractor commissioning resources (contractors, manufacturers), plan and chair site meetings, complete full site quality, safety and environmental inspections. Deal withand resolve disputes whether they are technical, economical or other.
* Be able to create and/or review commissioning procedures detailing the process to be followed in each test of the different equipment (combined voltage and current transformers, disconnectors, transformers, protection equipment, etc).

MAIN FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES

* The candidate will survey the commissioning work performed by the subcontractor, so it will be necessary to know the steps to be followed at each test.
* Attend progress, co-ordination and interface meetings with the team, client and contractors.
* Approval of commissioning procedures.
* Prepare and review tender documents including commissioning tests to be performed,
* contractor's scope of works, costs, and programme according to our standards and
* specifications.
* Provide regular reports on commissioning status. Minimise variations of the program and manage the variation process. Review contractor's milestones, confirm accuracy and authorise payments.

* Provide technical support, advice and instructions (related to your discipline area) to various
* contractors and others on site.
* Deliver commissioning site works in accordance with Project Quality and Environmental
* processes and procedures. Minimise non-conformances or resolved within specified
* timescales.
* Coordinate with the Lead Senior Authorised Persons regarding ‘Safety from the System' and the implementation of the worksite electrical safety rules. Achieving company's goals and objectives by meeting project targets.
* Achieving project programme whilst ensuring health and safety is not compromised.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with all project team members, contractors and key stakeholders. Always working in coordination with the function departments.

REQUIREMENTS

* Experience in renewables business is essential.
* Degree or MASTER degree in Engineering.
* Experience in commissioning, construction or design of substations, transmission lines, or power plants.
* Experience managing teams. Achieving company's goals and objectives by meeting project targets.
* Achieving project programme whilst ensuring health and safety is not compromised.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with all project team members, contractors and key stakeholders. Always working in coordination with the function departments.
* French and English fluent
* Spanish - desirable
