Event Communications Assistant (M/F/D) H/F

CDI 3 à 5 ans France - Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes - GRENOBLE

> Le poste

Mission :
Reporting to the Group Communication Manager, your mission will be mainly focused on the conception and organization of events relevant to the Group's communication strategy. However, we are looking for a versatile profile with a solid academic background in marketing and communication to contribute to the other cross-functional missions of the Communication department.

Main responsibilities :

Events (about 70% of activities)
- Manage event sourcing:
- Monitor and identify opportunities in line with the Group's strategy;
- Qualify the opportunities and update the related database.
- Participate in the definition of the internal / external event strategy:
- Develop and monitor the Group's event calendar;
- Build and monitor the events budget.
- Organize participation in the main trade shows, conferences and internal events, in conjunction with the relevant teams (France & international):
- Event design, integrating eco-design principles;
- Leading working meetings with the relevant teams, briefing and steering internal stakeholders and external service providers (trade show and conference organizers, communication agencies);
- Content strategy & writing skills: (co)design communication materials to promote the event, write "talking points" before the conferences, brief participants;
- Event logistics: follow up on printing, dispatch of communication materials, administrative management (registration files, orders, etc.)
- Define and monitor relevant KPIs;
- Drive continuous improvement;
- Travel in France and Europe (mainly Germany), 3 to 5 times a year.

Community Management

- In coordination with the Communication Assistant, write messages to promote the events (before - during - after).

Cross-functional support activities

- Contribute to the design and implementation of the communication plan;
- Contribute to the structuring of the department: write procedures, modus operandi, etc. ;
- Support in various administrative tasks of the communication department: placing and following up orders, application files (trade shows, prizes/awards), etc.

Additional Activities

- Active monitoring of new developments in the events sector and its new formats;
- Possibility of opening up to different subjects depending on the integration, the workload and the organization of the activity: partnership relations, sponsorship as part of our CSR strategy.

Required knowledge

- 5 years of higher education with a specialization in communication;
- Strong marketing and communication culture;
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position; experience in a communication agency is a plus;
- Mastery of the following tools:
- Pack office ;
- CMS tools;
- Social Media platforms.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must, German and/or Italian are a plus.
- Knowledge of the energy sector and/or successful experience in the industrial/BtoB sector are pluses.

Other :

- Full time position on permanent contract
- To be filled as soon as possible
- Remuneration & status according to experience
- Position based in Grenoble
- Travelling in France and Europe (mainly Germany), 3 to 5 times a year.
