As part of our continued growth and innovation of our ESG Advisory & Transaction Services , ERM is seeking motivated Environmental, Social, and Governance Senior Consultant who is interested in participating in a variety of projects covering the full spectrum of ERM’s services.
Some of our key services include:
- EHS due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, capital raising and project finance including Equator Principle reviews
- Analysis for bankruptcy, reserves, provisioning, Asset Retirement Obligations, and financial reporting
- Carbon and energy due diligence
- Post-merger Integration support
- Management system, EHS culture, gap analysis, and bench-marking
- Embedding social, stakeholder and sustainability elements into due diligence
Role Profile:
- Perform EHS due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and property sales and leases
- Conduct EHS due diligence for project finance
- Prepare and perform EHS Audit - Performance Based Auditing including compliance audit and audit program development
- Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
- Prepare technical proposals, participate in business development with existing clients, and identified leads. Maintain client relationships that generate repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Master degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Chemical Sciences or related discipline;
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferred to be in consultancy with relevant project experiences
- Sustainability reporting, ESG rating response work experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage and successfully deliver low to medium complexity projects and/or specific deliverables or phases of work on larger programs on time and in budget, including technical and financial oversight; ability to build, coach, and mentor collaborative teams
- Excellent communication and coordination skills;
- Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken);
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.
