Partner - EHS Due Diligence, Transaction Services et Financial Services sector H/F

ERM is experiencing a rapid uptake in financial services clients demand for our advisory services related to EHS Due Diligence, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Sustainable Finance. To support the growth demand, we are looking to further strengthen our team at the senior level with the appointment of a Partner with EHS Due Diligence expertise to join our Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) team as a Partner to work with our clients in the financial and the industrial services sector. This role will be based in France.

Our M&A team is currently going through a period of significant growth in the market whilst also servicing an existing large client base. The team works on a wide range of challenging technical and strategic projects, such as technical, EHS, climate risk and social due diligence, ESG strategy and sustainable finance. This Partner will provide inspirational leadership that engages and motivates all levels of staff and contribute to the achievement of ERM’s environmental due diligence service offering and growth strategy for the region. He or she will have the experience and capability to lead strategic engagements at the C-suite level. The Partner role is to lead on EHS (sometimes ESG), Due Diligence/M&A projects for our Financial (and occasionally Corporate) clients.

We are looking for someone who can deliver but equally maintain and build client relationships in the Finance space, so that they can also be originating sales. The incoming Partner will be expected to capitalise on existing relationships with clients and expanding that further through delivering on projects and building relationships with new clients. We welcome applications of candidates coming from the specialised environmental and sustainability consultancies as well as engineering consultancies and industry sectors such as insurance, , banking/finance, private equity and related sectors.

You will be working with and support other ERM Partners to develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships to generate new and repeat business with target clients. You will also be performing EHS compliance audits and assessments at client facilities, write technical audit reports, and implement follow-up corrective actions to assist clients in complying with national and regulations corporate requirements, perform due diligence assessments at client locations, evaluating regulatory data, and prepare technical reports, providing EHS consulting advice to clients, amongst other functions.

Profil recherché

Ideal candidates will have prior experience managing and successfully delivering EHS audits, medium complexity projects and/or specific deliverables or phases of work on larger programmes on time and in budget, including technical and financial oversight; ability to build, coach, and mentor collaborative teams. You will have demonstrable ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will enjoy working in a multi-cultural, international environment and you will have good attention to detail. This role will also suit someone who possesses strong organisational and multitasking capabilities. You must be an expert in French regulation. Educated to environmental studies, safety and or engineering or related discipline, you will be fluent in both French and English, with excellent reporting writing skills.
