Managing Partner for France, Belgium et Netherlands (bilingual French/English) H/F

ERM is seeking an inspirational leader, with strong operational and people skills, to join us as a Partner and Country Manager to look after our operations in France, Belgium and the Netherlands (BeNe).

Paris is a preferred location: alternatively, Brussels or other locations could be considered.

The Country Manager/Managing Partner will work closely with a high-performing team to grow a well-established business to its next level. Role profile

The Country Manager/Managing Partner (France and BeNe) will provide leadership in communicating and enabling ERM’s health and safety culture across the country/cluster. You will contribute to ERM’s growth and profitability by successfully leading the commercial and operational development of the countries whilst working closely with the corporate teams. You will also focus on recruiting, mentoring and coaching key staff; supporting and championing ERM’s global strategic initiatives; delivering exceptional value to clients and developing work with high growth, high value (HGHV) clients.

Main responsibilities (not limited to)

Providing leadership to achieve health and safety excellence, ensuring all staff and subcontractors understand ERM’ s commitment to safe working and the importance of adherence to ERM’s and client ‘s safety management requirements.

Developing and delivering the strategic direction for the countries in terms of sustained, profitable business growth, services development and operational excellence (in alignment with the ERM Global and EMEA strategies).

Achieving year on year sales growth, budgeted operational business objectives such as net revenue and profitability.

Championing a ‘client first’ culture: working with Partners in Charge (PiC) of projects to ensure that we provide added value to the client at every opportunity, through all stages of the project life cycle, from proposal to project closure.

Ensuring the appropriate mix of resources with the required skills are in place to deliver growth targets.

Controlling operational risk. This includes subcontractors, commercial, health and safety, regulatory, labour laws and contracts.

Implementing robust and sustainable talent management programmes including Partner-in-training (PT), recruitment of staff, career development framework and talent development programmes.

Profil recherché

The ideal candidate will have a successful record of leading, managing and growing a strategic consulting/advisory business. Although it is not a requirement, additional skills or experience in areas such as Sustainable Finance, M&A, ESG, LCT/Decarbonisation or Renewables a definite plus.

Educated to degree level, we expect you to be a strong communicator and motivational people leader, with the ability to bring people together and collaborate across geographies, service lines, growth drivers and our commercial metrics. You are comfortable working with and achieving various key performance objectives and believe in building an inclusive culture. Whilst consensus is important, your strong leadership skills will enable you to challenge other senior executives’ opinions when this is advisable.
