ERM is seeking an inspirational leader, with strong operational and people skills, to join us as a Partner and Country Manager to look after our operations in France, Belgium and the Netherlands (BeNe).

Paris is a preferred location: alternatively, Brussels or other locations could be considered.

The Country Manager/Managing Partner will work closely with a high-performing team to grow a well-established business to its next level. Our employees are dedicated and committed to their mission; they believe in what they do and they are enthusiastic about delivering high quality work to their clients. Having been operating in France and BeNe from the early 1990s, we have built a strong reputation in the market as a trusted advisor to our clients across major industry sectors and we offer a wide range of strategic consulting services, from corporate sustainability, climate change and energy transition strategy to technically challenging services such as remediation.

In 2021, ERM celebrates 50 years in the sustainability business and we look forward to seeing our contribution continue to grow at a time where companies are increasingly placing sustainability at the heart of their business strategy.

Our Values

ERM has enduring values, which are fundamental to our business conduct. We are passionate about our people, their safety, well-being and development. ERMers take accountability, are client-focused, and collaborate willingly with colleagues across geographies.

Role profile

The Country Manager/Managing Partner (France and BeNe) will provide leadership in communicating and enabling ERM’s health and safety culture across the country/cluster. You will contribute to ERM’s growth and profitability by successfully leading the commercial and operational development of the countries whilst working closely with the corporate teams. Achieving year on year sales growth, budgeted operational business objectives such as net revenue and profitability.

Championing a ‘client first’ culture: working with Partners in Charge (PiC) of projects to ensure that we provide added value to the client at every opportunity, through all stages of the project life cycle, from proposal to project closure.

Ensuring the appropriate mix of resources with the required skills are in place to deliver growth targets.

Controlling operational risk. This includes subcontractors, commercial, health and safety, regulatory, labour laws and contracts.

Implementing robust and sustainable talent management programmes including Partner-in-training (PT), recruitment of staff, career development framework and talent development programmes.
