Interns will work with a dedicated project manager and the team of consultants to communicate the often complex and subtle findings of the studies to a broader audience including journalists, industry, policy makers, and the general public. This will require the ability to quickly read and understand highly technical reports, transforming the results into messages that can be readily understood by non-experts. The interns may also be called on to provide support to internal management activities, as well as commercial proposals and client projects.

Intern tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Synthesising results of studies
- Interviewing internal experts
- Drafting articles for broad publication and dissemination
- Maintaining databases
- Analysing quantitative and qualitative information
- Developing tables and graphics to present visually information
- Helping to prepare reports and other deliverables
