Responsibilities :
Programs coordination :
• Supervise the technical field program managers
• Support the teams defining the implementation methodology, organizing trainings, defining a realistic working plan, setting up monitoring and activity follow-up tools
Technical coordination :
• Analyze and control the technical performance of current programs.
• Together with the Program Managers, analyze, control and improve the technical relevance of the Food Security and food aid programs.
Development and implementation of the FS strategy and programming :
• Analyze the humanitarian environment in Afghanistan, and the Food security context.
• Analyze the different data collected through ACF current programs and capitalize on the former experiences.
Team Management :
• Participate in the recruitment and training of the team members together with the administrator or Human resources
• Carry out appraisals of the food security teams
• Reinforce the management of programs and projects.
Public relation (in collaboration with HoM) :
• Represent the organization externally towards humanitarian actors, authorities, donors and beneficiaries.
• Post graduate education is preferred, or Bachelor degree (at least four years) in Economics, applied social or natural sciences, behavioural sciences, agriculture, agricultural engineering. Experience in humanitarian sector is compulsory: four to five years relevant experience in food security livelihood and project cycle management: Knowledge of main donors’ guidelines, training. Experience in management of Agricultural program and food aid experience is a plus.
• Langues : fluency in English, French is an asset.
Conditions
Status: Employee - Fixed-term contract - All expenses paid in the field: travel out/return, collective or individual accommodation depending on position and family, meals and hygiene expenses - Ability to take in charge accompanied position depending on position - Monthly salary ranging from €1550 to €1950 gross depending on the position and experiences + Allowance of €200 net paid on the mission - Social security, complementary health, repatriation insurance and contribution to a pension - Purchase of 2.08 days off per month - 20 RTT per year - Training of 2 to 3 weeks, achieved in Paris before leaving on mission.
