Be part of the future as PROJECT MANAGER in the French renewable energy industry
Xergi A/S is a leading technology supplier of biogas production facilities covering the design, engineering and construction of biogas plants. We are currently expanding our business in France and are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our subsidiary company Xergi SAS.
As Project Manager;
you will be responsible for the erection of a number of Xergi’s biogas projects in France under guidance of the Senior Project Manager in Denmark.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Financial management of the projects
• Overall construction time schedule and quality control
• Negotiation and contracting for goods and services for the projects
• Negotiations with authorities and sub-contractors
• Ongoing contact with the organisation in Denmark
• Daily coordination/supervision of construction sites
• Implementation and delivery of plant to the customer
You must be able to handle the projects from both a technical and an economical point of view, and it is consequently essential that you have a thorough technical knowledge as well as a sound business approach.
As a member of the team in France, you will also participate in the process of obtaining new orders in France for biogas installations.
You are;
a qualified construction or mechanical engineer with several years’ experience with project management. It is essential that you master English and French language at negotiation level. The work will be performed in close cooperation with the technical organisation in Denmark as well as with foreign subsuppliers. Furthermore we expect you to be an experienced user of the MS Office package.
As a person;
you are a strong negotiator with a proven track record of performing contracts in the construction industry in France. You understand the importance of detail, and yet maintain a clear overview of all your responsibilities. You are goal oriented, outgoing, and approach challenges you may face with a smile.
