Progressive and innovative legal action has the potential to transform the EU energy landscape and to drive investment in sustainable alternatives. A focus of the position is to ensure that European countries implement an energy transition which maximize the use of carbon neutral energy resources and minimizes the reliance on gas during coal phase-outs in relevant countries.
