Member Manager H/F

Description du poste

Under the responsibility of the country head or the program leader, the member manager is in charge of a portfolio of members. As such, the position is a mix of relationship management by being the preferred point of contact of the member; and of project management, being in charge of the good progress of projects with his or her members.
The area of work is related to either forestry, agricultural or sea commodities such as: paper, charcoal, palm oil, coconut, soy, cocoa, tuna, shrimp etc.
His or her responsibilities will be the below:
• With the member:
o Member strategy and policy definition
o Workplan definition: objectives, timeline, deliverables and associated budget
o Member internal & external communication with stakeholders on work realized with TFT
o Day to day relationship
• For the members’ projects
o TFT internal & international teams coordination
o Timelines and deliverables management
o Technical support
o Tools development
• Supply chain work :
o Implementation and follow up of traceability surveys
o Data analysis, risks prioritization, action plans recommendations

Profil recherché

• University degree or higher in environmental science, natural resource management, forestry, agronomy, supply chain management, sustainable development or related field
• Good understanding and knowledge in forestry, agricultural and sea products supply chains
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse systems and identify key issues and risks
• At least 2 years of experience in project management related work

The candidate will have to demonstrate rigor and practical sense in the different database analysis that will be given to him/her. Good analysis, synthesis, editorial and organizational skills will be also required. Plus, the autonomy and initiatives shall guarantee a versatility in the missions.

Language skills:

• Strong communication skills in French (speaking and writing)
• Strong communication skills in English (speaking and writing)

• Passion for working on issues related to sustainability, resilience, human rights and supply chains;

Working conditions / Physical effort:
• Based in Lille, France
• Contract duration: 5 to 8 months
