Department
Vestas Mediterranean (MED) is the business unit within Vestas Wind Systems, covering the following markets: Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, middle east, Turkey, Greece, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Mexico. It´s responsible for developing these markets in terms of sales, project installation and customer service.
The purpose of the role is to secure long term sales relationships with Vestas customers, as well as to identify and pursue supply sales opportunities, from initial screening and quotation to successfully negotiating and closing contracts, and thereby winning business on the France market.

Responsibilities and tasks:
The selected is responsible to maintain and build customer relationships:
• Identify and help create new business opportunities

• Develop, negotiate and close projects contracts

• Manage complex buying process and convert prospects into win

• Collaborate with support functions (Legal, Finance, Technical)

• Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions with business targets.

• Participate to the development of new technical and business solutions

Area Sales Manager is a Specialist so doesn’t manage resources directly. But he interacts directly with internal and external stakeholders and he’s responsible for results he achieves.

Profil recherché

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree (or equivalent work experience) Engineering, business, marketing and sales or related field of study.

• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, energetic, professional and possess excellent customer-service skills.

• Must be able to demonstrate commercial/sales management record (+/-5 years) at a high level of achievement.

• Work experience in a multinational environment is highly appreciated.

• Work experience in an energy company is highly appreciated.

• Fluent in English

Competencies:

Must have ability to work under pressure and in a team in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment with critical thinking, decision-making and problem solving skills. He/She must be able to co-operate and co-ordinate flawlessly with virtual teams belonging to a cross border/cross functional organization. He must be communicative and extrovert, being able to build and maintain good and close relationships with customers
