Business Development Manager France H/F

Description du poste

We are searching for a passionate Business Development Manager to further sustain the growth of the French team. The successful Candidate’s role will be two-fold:

On the one hand, as a senior consultant/project manager, he/she will be responsible for overseeing and providing technical support to his colleagues within the wind and solar consultancy team
As a Business Development Manager, his/her role will consist of being the main point of contact with clients, key stakeholders in the French renewable energy market, proactively identify new opportunities and discuss technical issues with the client. To summarise, he/she will be 3E’s representative for the Paris area
The position will be based in Paris and will require the candidate to travel nationally (office in Toulouse) and to the headquarters from time to time. The ideal candidate has a background within the wind and/or solar consultancy business, brings an existing network, has an innovative mindset and is heavily committed to further grow the 3E business.

Profil recherché

Requirements

Engineering background
Established experience dealing with key stakeholders in the French renewable energy sector
Excellent understanding of the French renewable energy sector, preferably with a background as solar or wind technical expert
Outstanding communication and report writing skills
Customer-focused with a strong commercial sense
Able to produce high-quality consultancy offers
Willingness to travel when needed
Organisational skills, confident and ability to PM projects, guide and assist the colleagues through the execution of more advanced projects
7 to 15 years working experience, preferably in a Project Management / Business Development position / technical sales, engineering position.
3- 5 years of experience in the Solar PV and/ or wind Industry, preferably in France
Analytical, innovative and creative
Fluent in French and English


Preferred (not essential) additional requirements:

Engineering consulting background, preferably 5-10 years of experience in large RE solar or wind projects
Strong knowledge of PV solar and wind market in France is preferred to identify the key stakeholders in the market
An ability to lead an efficient and effective team
Value for quality with regards to work outputs
