We recruit for our client, world leader in the environmental sector, a "Proposals Manager - Water Networks" to work in Middle East area.

Responsibilities and duties of the role holder:

The Proposals Manager serves water networks optimization/management proposals in the Middle East market, and is responsible for Water Networks bids and proposals from pre-bid stage until project award, including being directly involved in design and value engineering, negotiations and cost estimation.
- Manages the full cycle of proposal effort/activity related to water networks optimization and management, from gathering inputs and developing estimates to the timely final submission of a compliant, complete and competitive bid.
- Supports Business Developers in meetings with external stakeholders (clients, consultants and partners), and is a techno-commercial contributor to presentations and negotiations.
- Coordinates the preparation of the overall proposal (including technical, financial, contractual, legal and staff components) ensuring that it is compliant with corporate policy and procedures.
- Accountable for the timely production of all proposal deliverables including all related research.
- Collaborates and cooperates with Business Developers and key internal teams to determine project feasibility, key drivers of competitiveness, proposal strategy, target price and main deviations against the specifications of the tender.
- Benchmarks and estimates a realistic and competitive price in line with commercial strategy.
- Provides expertise and active input towards defining the project execution and delivery strategies.
- Supports Business Developers in meetings with external stakeholders and is a key contributor to presentations and negotiations.
- Leads discussions with suppliers & subcontractors, and contributes to setup of contractual agreements, etc.
