Degrémont Technologies AG – a company of the Suez Group – is a worldwide active company, leader in the field of drinking and waste water treatment. We develop, engineer and manufacture specialized industrial products for ozone generation.

For our team based in Zurich, Switzerland we look for a:

Product Lifecycle Manager (M/F) Under the responsability of the Head of Innovation, product Development and Applications, you will be in charge of product lifecycle management (PLM) : this is the process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, to service and disposal of manufactured products. PLM integrates people, data, processes and business systems and provides a product information backbone for companies and their extended enterprise.

Main responsabilities: 
- PLM (from Specification and concept design to detailed design, validation and analysis, tool design, plan manufacturing, building and assembling, quality testing, and feedback of existing projects): be responsible for the reliability of the products and coordonate the systems design process by involving all relevant disciplines; create a central managament of all product data and the technology used to access this information and knowledge; manage description of the engineering aspect of a product; organize and coordinate the phase out of products to be replaced and the phase in of the subsequent product in close relationship with all involved parties.
- Reliability of the products and product quality warranty: Create and maintain product specification, work instructions and prototype building; Maintain the product file for the entire product line; Create and maintain schematics, wiring drawings, assembly drawings, test procedures and product manuals documentation.
- Transversal management of the product team: Support to the 3 different principal product teams (Ozone, UV and Membrane) and the product leaders 
- Product technology transfer of existing products from expert team to the whole company especially to the workshops.
- Purchasing: assist purchasing in the inquiry and verification part, sourcing components from new and existing suppliers; product support for manufacturing, technical service and after-sales service departments for mechanical operation
- Supply: Support for facility design changes needed for expansion of manufacturing facility; Supply support for field service technicians and troubleshooting for existing projects; Answer technical questions concerning operation of mechanical components.
