We are looking for a Meter Data Analyst.
Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of Responsibilities:
- Monitor, maintain and ensure that all metering systems are functioning properly and data is accurately being provided to the CC&B billing system and to other departments dependent on metering data.
- Provide essential reports and queries from billing system, Eops meter Data Management System and meter data collection software.
- Develop and delivers MDM training material
- Ensure the validity of interval data, including estimation and editing of missing interval data, analysis of totalized load, consumption and time--‐of--‐use billing determinates.
- Understand and ensure the accurate application of system estimation algorithms.
- Ensure synchronization of common data residing in separate but related Systems
- Provide detailed interval data reports for internal and external customer support.
- Respond accurately to routine but complex data requests from internal and external customers.
- Regularly Monitor Consumption/Revenue for Commercial & Industrial meters i.e., strategic meters to ensure billing and meter accuracy and communicates any actionable items identified.
- Develop and manage daily and weekly job plans for the Meter Shop
- Work with management to develop an inventory solution: ensure inventory is tracked, recorded and entered in the billing system.
- Responsible for assisting in increasing productivity of field forces by analyzing existing schedules and developing future schedules that take into consideration job, materials, location etc.
- Responsible for analyzing field activity data and ensuring the accuracy of asset records in the billing system and workforce management system.
- Create new algortithms based on customer or onther input
- The Data Analyst position requires travel to customer sites roughly quarterly
Knowledge of quality systems, quality regulations, and safe work practices
Proven interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of staff, management, vendors and customers
Knowledgeable with MS Office Suite
Able to learn Workforce management tools, CC&B(Billing System), Key System, GIS(ESRI)
