            DEGREMONT’s presence in Egypt dates back to 1948. DEGREMONT is today building and operating large wastewaster treatment plants in Alexandria and Cairo with a treatment capacity of approximately 2 million people daily.

We are currently looking for candidates to join our teams working on the Gabal El Asfar Wastewater Treatment Plant as Start-Up Engineer (H/F) CDD 12 months renewable.

            Working closely with the QHSE manager and the Plant Manager, the Start-Up Engineer will be responsible for organizing, implementing and coordinating the start-up activities of the plant and act as a support of all operation and maintenance teams.

Your main missions will be as follows:
Systems and equipment

• Implementing the installation activities (equipment installation, final inspections organization and completion) and ensuring the organization of all installation site’s means (resources & materials) in order to guarantee the respect of the planning, installation budget and contract’s requirement;
• Verification that equipment and systems are mechanically complete;
• Contributing to the training (theoretical and practical on the equipment’s maintenance) of the O&M teams.
Support and partnership

• Assist all Departments in implementing operational procedures and propose improvements;
• Contribute to the inventory and assessment of the equipments and materials;
• Assisting the Plant Engineer with the training of the personnel in the operation of the plant.
Management of the site documentation

• Contribution to Implementation of the Company Processus (Omega);
• Contributing to the capitalization of the Group Know How through site’s REX and reporting;
• Responsible for the management of the following documentation: Operation Manuals, Suppliers documentation, as built documents.
