VIE Process & REX H/F

Description du poste

Founded in 1939, Degrémont is part of Suez Environment. It is the world specialist in water treatment plants and as such makes an important contribution towards sustainable development. Degrémont has built 10,000 facilities in more than 70 countries.

The Degrémont engineers and technicians design, build and commission facilities for drinking water production, sea water desalination, waste water treatment and re-use, and sludge treatment. Degrémont offers a complete range of services including maintenance, spare parts, upgrading works, technical assistance, etc., to satisfy the demand from an increasing number of customers.

In the Middle East, Degrémont Middle East L.L.C. has been created in December 2007 and is currently designing, building or operating facilities in the UAE, Qatar, Oman, KSA, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Bahrain.

The BU Processus and REX Coordinator role will be composed of three missions.

-          OMEGA Processus: a Process-based Quality management system
OMEGA Processus is a process-based quality management system recouping the inherent procedures, instructions and documentation for each process.

Degrémont Middle East Business Unit needs a Processus & REX Coordinator to be the representative of the Paris OMEGA Processus team within the Business Unit, under the supervision of the Middle East BU Execution Director.

Among his/her tasks, the Processus & REX Coordinator will be responsible for :

• Guarantying the efficient library of OMEGA documentation and processes are up to date,
• Communicating and implementing the documentation and processes updated by the OMEGA Processus team in Paris within the BU,
• Monitoring the use and application of documentation and processes to ensure the compliance of the BU with the Group rules, including recommendations for corrections and follow-up to ensure that deviations have been corrected,
• Supporting the Quality Middle East Business Unit teams on site,
• Supporting the Proposal and Execution teams by providing the Business Unit certifications of quality and compliance with norms when required.
As part of this role, he/she will be the OMEGA Processus point of contact for the BU, including the on-site teams, and will particularly have interactions with the Project Managers, plus the QA/QC, QHSE and Process teams.

-          Return on Experience (REX)
Returns on Experience are part of the OMEGA Processus and consist in sharing of problems encountered, including reflection on improvement areas and solutions to implement.
The process is the following:
1)       REX forms are filled by the teams, they are directly linked with the site or BU functioning (mainly technical subjects, but also general and managerial among others)
2)       Quarterly and required meeting are held with the site Project Managers and the BU Execution Director for a common discussion and reflection
3)       Outputs of the meetings are to be implemented within the concerned sites, if required communicated to Degrémont for wider spreading within the Group.

The Processus & REX Coordinator will be in charge of:

• Recouping the forms and comparing each of them with the ones in the REX database to ensure a similar case has not been previously treated,
• Animating and coordinating the REX network, including the organization and facilitation of the quarterly and required meetings, plus the formalization of the meeting outputs,
• If a solution could not be found during the BU internal meetings or if the problem encountered is larger than the Middle East BU scope and/or is likely to occur in other entities of the Group, he/she will be responsible for the redaction and communication of REX forms to the Corporate teams,
• Spreading and ensuring the implementation of the REX recommendations internally identified (lessons to be learnt etc.) within the BU.
Eventually, interventions of the BU Director in the quarterly and required meetings and work seminars between the Projects managers and the BU Execution Director are to be organized.

-          Internal Communication
Complementarily to the above described missions, the Processus & REX Coordinator will be in charge of the Internal Communication within the Middle East Business Unit. Supervised by the Middle East BU HR Manager , he/she will be responsible for:

• Guarantying all the BU communication supports are available, notably  for the induction of new joiners,
• Launching a newsletter to be sent on a regular basis to the BU and on-site teams: creating and animating workshops and quarterly meetings,
• Ensuring to have an on-site Communication Coordinator in each project.To ensure this role, he/she will be the point of contact of the Communication Department in Paris.

Profil recherché

General requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a previous experience in a Multinational Company, ideally an internship or apprenticeship in Water Treatment, and based abroad.
Education requirements: A Master Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Languages required:  Fluent in English and French, Arabic is a plus.
Required technical skills:
- Technical knowledge and comprehension of Firms Management Processus  and Quality management,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Excellent organizational and anticipation skills,
- Pack Office.
