To manage long term business relationships with clients at national/regional level in order to generate, prepare, track and follow new affairs / bids, allowing the growth of DEGREMONT’s business on the South African Market, especially in Industry and Equipment areas,

DEGREMONT offers a position of Business Development Manager for Industry in South Africa.

As part of our team in Johannesburg, he/she will be responsible to develop close relationship with client / consultants in order to promote Degremont technologies and sale our solutions and equipments to the industrial market in Southern Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana).
He/she will remain the priviledged contact of the client to create trust and develop partnerships.
In close relationship with the General Manager and within Degremont's technical and business policies, he/she will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Asses the industrial market;
- Be responsible for developing industrial activies and identify new opportunities;
- Define Degremont Products and Solutions by analysing the responsiveness of our products and Solutions in terms of performance and competitiveness;
- Understand and benchmark the competition;
- Identify the sales and distribution channels;
Create strong relationship with Clients and Consulting Engineers and promote our products and solutions;
Assist technical teas in tender preparation.

Profil recherché

Candidates for this position should meet the following requirements:
 - University degree in engineering, business or MBA equivalent
- 10 years of experience in Business Development, with perfect command of
African industrial markets O&G and Mining as key sectors
- Good knowledge of water treatment technologies and process
- Manager with proven track record in sales environment & strong network in industry
- Strong relationship skills
- Effective in a hands-on organizational
- Results-oriented, pragmatic, dynamic
- Team player with proven leadership skills

Other requirements

- Willingness to travel - Languages: fluent in English and Afrikaans. French language welcome.
